How should I begin this post?
I don’t know…
So, I guess I’ll just start writing!
I am violating the rules of writing…
And if you read this post, you are a rule breaker, too!
The “Rules of Writing” make it clear…
You don’t begin…
Until you know where you will end!
Sensible advice!
Good advice!
Advice to follow!
Sometimes.
But not today….
And so, I begin…
Taking action without knowing the outcome.
A little scary.
What does it take to take that first step?
Courage?
Courage based on…
Our own strength?
Our own knowledge?
Our own intelligence?
How about courage based on faith…
Faith in the strength of God…
Faith in the goodness of God…
Faith that God knows what’s best…
If we can’t take that first step without knowing the outcome…
Is it really faith?
And if we have faith in Him then our faith leads to action
If we must know exactly what will happen…
Then we do not have real faith…
Except perhaps in ourselves.

James 2:14-17
What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
James 1:23-25
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. In the process of learning truth over error(s) of in this world, and flesh nature that is this world’s captive.
So be dead to flesh nature to be alive to Father and Son in Spirit and Truth. Know this too, our flesh nature is not redeemed, so be dead to it as in Romans 6:1-11
For I know this, I can’t do it, as I get reminded of this as needed to be reminded of it, as in 2 Cor 12:7-10 tells me all about what humbleness is to stand in it, trust to God alone, as this flesh can’t do that even though I want it to, it can’t. If could then Christ came to earth in vain for us
1 Cor 15 explains that pretty well to me at least
Thanks, as I need Father and Son as Won (One) to just lead me in his truth of love and mercy for all through Son for us
