“Happy birthday to you…”
Everybody sang… and the five-year-old smiled…
And blew out the candles on his cake…
And then he saw the presents!
Presents from Mama and Daddy…
Presents from aunts and uncles
Presents from his friends…
But where was the present from grandma and grandpa?
He’d talked to them on the phone…
They’d promised it was on the way…
“Don’t worry,” Mama said…
“It will be here soon…”
So he checked the mail the next day…
And the next week…
And the next…
But still the mailbox was empty.
“Oh,” Mama said…
“It must have gotten lost.
Grandpa and grandma live all the way on the other side of the ocean!”
Three months passed…
He’d almost forgotten the present.
And then one day the doorbell rang…
And there stood a man with a present too big for the mailbox!
Love lost.
Love found!
Sometimes…
Our love gets lost because of the sheer distance between us…

Is it hidden in a distant heaven with a distant God?

It is utterly amazing to not be condemned by God, even when other sins again and again. To stand in belief even if got angered again or have lust of this world we are in again. Not just sexual lust, lust of power, a good job, seeing that Father is not condemning us, has and does floor me.
To be forgiven and remain forgiven from God Father by Son’s done work once for us all
Changed, changes me, in responding to him in thanksgiving and praise, beginning to see, Father looking for a willing response, not a take it for granted response as I have done in the past, Thinking I can do it, because I am forgiven, or I can’t do it, because I am forgiven, I do it either way of seeing this truth.
The perplexity of, being forgiven and remain as forgiven, even if I sin again, has floored me, and now am seeing just be thankful, let go of past, and stand in the present given me, as Paul saw this too in Philippians 3
Escaping works, and yet work, yet not I, but Father in risen Son through me, as I learn from mistakes as bad habits wax away
Hebrews 10 3, 4 have much to say to us each to see and be new in this Love given us from Father of risen Son for us.
Do not shrink back even if one is going through the Desert presently, The First Chosen also did for 40 Years, not to give fear, to give Love, that is so misunderstood presently
Thanks Bob, for being a waiter in his love to us all
