Top 6 Bible Verses-The Price of Ignorance …
Ignorance is costly…

I know from personal experience…
With a dishwasher…
Which could be a way of saying that I am plenty ignorant.
You be the judge…
I loaded the dishwasher one night
You know the routine…
First the dirty dishes…
Then the dish-washing liquid.
Finally I push the ON/OFF button.
Nothing happens.
No little lights glow on the control panel.
Maybe if I push the ON/OFF button again…
Nothing.
In the basement, I flip the circuit breaker.
Still nothing.
Hours later, my wife washes the dishes by hand.
Suddenly…
As if it is taunting her…
The empty dishwasher starts.
On its own.
Not a good sign.
The next day, I call a repairman…
An expensive repairman.
He looks at the dishwasher.
“Strange,” he says…
And looks under the sink…
“There’s the problem!”
He points to a cord dangling from an outlet.
He pushes it all the way in.
The lights on the dishwasher glow.
“I feel stupid,” I say.
“You just didn’t know,” he says.
“Here’s the bill.”
I just didn’t know.
And I paid a price for my ignorance.
I’d tell you how much…
But then I’d just feel stupid all over again.
Let’s just say that the cost of ignorance can be high.
Sometimes…
The cost of my ignorance has been even higher…
Sometimes…
I can’t even count it in dollars and cents
Times when I trusted I my own ignorance…
Instead of trusting the wisdom and grace of God…
Wonder what the Bible says about God’s wisdom and our Ignorance?
Top 6 Bible Verses-The price of Ignorance …
Proverbs 28:26
Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered.
James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
Times when I knew where I wanted to go…
Was certain and boastful in my ignorance about how things would turn out…
Proverbs 27:1
Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.
And forgot to ask God…
The only One with real knowledge about tomorrow, where He wanted me to go…
Proverbs 19:2
Desire without knowledge is not good, and whoever makes haste with his feet misses his way.
1 Peter 1:13-16
Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

As all boils down to trust to God in risen Son for us to be led new and not of work(s) of self. For I see Christ himself did not lead himself at all.
Father did it all through him for us to stand in belief to his done work first, we are reconciled the same as forgiven for all but one
That is unbelief we all are first born in here on earth to find out and decide no matter what to stand in belief or not.
No more Hot, then Cold, then Lukewarm.
Just belief to stand in as done for you, you, you, me and all the persons ever born here on earth through man and woman.
First born of flesh and blood, then born of the Spirit of God, by God Father of risen Son himself. Too Easy, I got to do something don’t I?
Does a water glass in the cupboard, get up and do stuff, want to or does it just wait to be used whenever it’s master wants it to be used.
Never Jealous, envious or anything, just waits in rest to be used whenever it’s master decides to.
Amazing, so in belief can we do this too, be God’s Father and Son’s water glass. God is tr4aining us those in belief and those that just turned to his love and mercy too, as the enemies try to distract and attract us into ignorance over things as not knowing the dishwasher was partly plugged in.
Just like a toaster, that makes toast, it can not do it unless plugged into the source.
Same with us, trust for God to have us plugged in to him by Son’s done work for us to stand in.
Thanks again Bob, as I learn much from your posts and respond to them in what I hear and learn even more about just Trust to God Father and Son
James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him
Reading on in context, I see why I do not get what I want, for my flesh desires are to please me here on earth, at the cost of others, matters not as long as I am healthy, wealthy, got a nice home and good kids.
So I do not get them, because I want to spend my wants on me, not on my wife or kids.
Yet in God is not dead, Note the Son of the Mom in care giving hospital, where Son says I don’t need God to her. For he has got what he wants, not seeing what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and yet loose his own soul.
It is not bad to be wealthy, or even poor here on earth, for all things are clean of itself, it is what anyone does with what has got given them ev3en though feeling as if worked for it.
Conundrum after conundrum, God Father in Spirit and Truth is the connection jesusn as the Son made form us to do it, not us Father through us.
Thanks
