But what exactly are the promises of God?

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.

Fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.
