Jesus? A madman?

Ready to run away?

Each week, Everyday servant posts links to posts from great Christian blogs.

Some are well known…

Others are from blogs you may have missed.

This week, posts from Tim Challies, David Rupert, Jon Bloom and Kristi Miller…

1.  Can we trust God to save our children?

Or do we think it’s somehow up to us?

We taught our kids how to ride their bikes, be nice to their friends, and yes, they even needed us to show them how to move on from diapers.

But eventually we had to let them ride their bikes and make friends on their own.

It’s hard to let kids go.

Never more so than when the subject is their eternal destiny

Read Tim Challies’ blog post as he asks, “Do you believe God will save your Kids?”

2.  Waiting for God

Do you think your current circumstances will never change?
Do you feel you are all alone in your waiting?

Kristi Miller was in that very same position…

Then she learned that the thought we are alone is a lie…

Looking for assurance that God is with you? Even when you see no end to your troubles?

Read Kristi’s post from FindingourFeet.org

3.  Was Jesus a mad man? Or was He God?

You’ve heard the argument… Jesus wasn’t God… He was just a good teacher.

But if you really consider what Jesus said, that’s not an option.

In fact, Jon Bloom says Jesus was both fully God and fully man, or he was a mad man

Read Jon post from the blog, Desiring God.

4.  Ready to Run Away?

Is your marriage in trouble?

Is your job in jeopardy?

Has your church disappointed you?

How will you react?

Will you run away?

Before you run, read this thoughtful post from David Rupert on his blog, Red Letter Believers
