…the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8
2:46 AM…
They are howling…
Really howling…
Each adding his barks and yells and growls and howls to a raucous reverberation…
A ragged declaration of individual strengths and threats…
A disquieting, discordant yowling that wakes me up…
I pull back the curtains and look out…
Where are they?
I can’t see them…
But they are close…closer than I’d like to think.
How many are there?
From all the howls, there must be three or more…
Three or more what, you ask?
Coyotes.
We do not live in a rural area…
We live in the suburbs of a big city.
So do the coyotes.
Tonight they are making a lot of noise…
Announcing their presence.
Usually the coyotes sound as if they are distant, and we assume they are in the local forest preserve.
We tell ourselves they won’t come into our neighborhood…
We tell ourselves they are far away.
But that’s not true.
They live in the midst of us…
Or perhaps we live in the midst of them.
Could it be the same with something far more dangerous than coyotes?
We tell ourselves the threats to our souls are far away…
We tell ourselves we really don’t have to worry about evil…
But is that true?
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8
“A roaring lion?”
Then why is our enemy so hard to spot?
…no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14
We think ourselves safe from an enemy whose strength we cannot even imagine…
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12
Once we recognize the presence of the enemy…
Where do we find safety?
Only in God’s word…
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 2 Timothy 3:16
Only in God’s grace…
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9
Only in God himself…
But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3

Enemy never leaves either while here, So better to be in Spirit and truth while here in flesh and Blood as dead and Father holds one up in Faith to lead. The the Devil can’t win
And if does it be only temporal, and I can learn more from my mistakes not being made guilty and to repent again, just turn to Father in thanksgiving and praise all sin is today taken away by Son that is done and not to be taken advantage of
What is so amazing is King David saw this and wrote about it, Psalms 100:4 and 103:12, as well as Job in Job 19:25, along with many more that walked by Faith in trust to God to do what God said he will do , has today done it
We are after it being done what they hoped for to be as God said would be is done in Son whom is risen to lead and will do so in Father’s Spirit if one is willing for this to be. This is a personal asking from the King as in Matthew 18:24-35 and if I do not appreciate, and do as have been done to By Father in being forgiven and do not forgive
Then all I ever have done is in vain, and all me works burn up and suffer loss, then final last part after all that loss, one personally goes in and through safe or not
One work in Faith better one better that that of the Pharisees. That is how one knows if the fruit in and through them is of Father and Son or not
When confronted by your enemy sand God gives. allows the opportunity to kill the one that has been trying to kill you, and you don’t, then you know you belong to God and are willing to die for God in his Love and Mercy given thee
Thank you Again Brother for the insightful posts placed in you to post by Father in risen Son in his Spirit and truth leading you
Nicely written. What people have to realize is that the beasts of the earth actually means the holding place of evil spirits. When you see anger and violence (or just plain grouchyness), it is most often caused by evil spirits. Be close to GOD and cast them back to where they came from in JESUS mighty name.
Revelation 6:7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
Revelation 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Luke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Luke 10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
Luke 10:22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.
Luke 10:23 And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:
Luke 10:24 For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
The key thing is that JESUS gave us power and expects us to use it. Why give it to us unless HE expects us to use it. Send the evil spirits back to where they came from in JESUS name. To send them back to where they came from means you are sending them back to the pit, which is basically instant death. Do that as a rule and then they will be afraid to bother you.
