Finding Gods guidance …
We are lost…
We just don’t know it, yet.
How, you ask, did we get lost?
We’re visiting a small town just a few miles up the road…
I used my GPS to get here…
But I don’t need it to get home…
I know the way…
Or so I think…
Just one right turn, and one left turn…
And we’ll be on the highway leading almost to our door.
I turn right…
And then turn left at the next light.
We drive a few miles…
“Gee,” my wife says, “The road sure looks different than it did on the way here…”
A warning…
A warning I ignore…
After all, I know the way home…
We pass a sign for a small town…
Funny, I think…
Isn’t that town west of us?
A second warning I ignore…
Still confident I know the way home…
The traffic gets very light.
“Traffic Circle Ahead,” warns a sign….
Traffic circle?
On a busy state highway?
I don’t remember a traffic circle…
Could it be another warning that we’re lost?
“we’ve been driving 45 minutes,” my wife says…
“Didn’t it only take about 20 minutes to get to there?”
A final warning…
Maybe I don’t know the way home…
Maybe I should look for a little guidance…
I turn on the GPS…
Sure enough…
Someplace I went the wrong direction…
After 45 minutes of driving…
We are still an hour from home…
A twenty-minute drive…
Turned into two hours of aimless wandering…
Aimless wandering that could have been avoided…
How like my life…
How often I wander aimlessly ..
Forgetting that Gods guidance is always available…
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you. Psalm 32:8
I plan my route through life…
Forgetting to seek Gods guidance …
The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps. Proverbs 16:9
I trust my own understanding…
Forgetting where real understanding lies…
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
Forgetting that Gods guidance is always available to light our way…
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105

God’s perfect service
Me learning the new too, even whenever I think I know it, I find out I do not, only Father and Son as Won for us does. So thankful for his love and mercy given us by Son for us to be new in his risen life presently and forever for us in Spirit and truth, not of this flesh body, that is not redeemed
Romans 8:23, so seeing to be dead as am dead to God in this flesh body, yet not dead in Spirit and Truth as in John 4:23-24 tells me . Yet find me trapped in emotional traumas.
When my emotion(s) lead me, I am in a wreck, thrown off the railroad tracks, whenever the Caboose is leading. My emotions do the same thin in and through me when in disgust over stuff
How easy it is to get lost in the shuffle of this world, wanting to be liked, accepted, loved, unconditionally
Whew, woe is me as in Isaiah 6:1-6, and to stand in no doubt of God to get us freed with humility
Isaiah 7:9 1-9 nine stands out about doubt,
