God’s Power? In a Snow Blower? 2

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”  2 Corinthians 12:9

Wind chill of -25 degrees!

The fifth worst winter storm in our city’s history….

snow

Nineteen inches of snow!

it really snowed last weekend…

But nineteen inches of snow?

Not on my driveway!

The official snow total is only the starting point for the amount on my driveway…

  • First, I add at least 3 inches for blowing and drifting…
  • Then I add 5-6 inches for the snow scooped into the driveway by the passing plow…
  • Finally, I add an unmeasurable amount for the boastful story I will tell when I go back into the house…

“Wow!” I will say.  “That was hard work!”

As I coerced my snow blower up the driveway, I was reminded of a lesson about God that I learned from a big snowstorm last year…

It was an unexpected lesson about God’s power…

A lesson learned from a very cheesy analogy (click here to continue)...

Bob! Do you know why you chose to re-post this today? I know why ….
My sister and I have been praying and praying and praying about a situation.
WE, of course, think WE know the solution.
We even have a “3-Step Plan” to resolve the whole issue.
But we’ve been trying to wait on God’s hand to move.
Last night, she called and confessed how hard it is not to jump into action on OUR 3-Step Plan.
But we will try to wait on HIS power …..
    Thanks for reminding us!
