“This year, Christmas will be perfect!” she says…
“We’ll start with the perfect tree!”
But it isn’t…
Perfect, that is.
The tree doesn’t fit in the stand.
“We’ll just shave down the trunk…”
“Now it fits…”
“OK, let’s stand it up….”
They step back and look…
Ready to behold the perfect Christmas tree in all its glory…
But it still isn’t…
Perfect, that is.
“It leans to the left…”
“Let’s put some blocks under the left leg…”
“That’s better…”
“Now let’s put on the lights.”
They put on the lights…
And step back to look at the perfect tree in all its lighted glory…
But still, it isn’t…
Perfect, that is.
“There’s a dark spot on that side…”
“And too many reds lights on the other side…”
They rearrange the lights.
Put on the ornaments.
And stand back to look one last time…
To look at the perfect tree in all its decorated glory…
She is just about to say something, when…
“It’s perfect!” shouts the 5-year-old.
She pauses…
And smiles.
“Yes,” she says, “it’s perfect.”
If you wrote the book on How to have a perfect Christmas …
What would you write?
How would you fill its pages?
Would you fill them with recipes for the perfect family dinner?
With tips for decorating the house and tree?
With Christmas carols for the whole family to sing?
How to have a perfect Christmas ?
What if…
The perfect Christmas doesn’t depend on our efforts at all…
What if…
It is God who made the perfect Christmas?
How to have a perfect Christmas ?
What if…
All we need to do is remember the meaning of day…
Remember the God who gave us an incomparable gift of love…
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
And with the angels and shepherds from that first Christmas…
Thank Him from the depths of our hearts…
And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” Luke 2:8-14

Luke 2:8-14
“Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”
Whom is God pleased with? Not me, how about you, I sure would love to hear he is pleased with me, and you too.
Truth is God is not pleased with anyone but Son!
Amazing reality for me to face, right here right now. Even though I have done good, I have tried over and over again to be new. I have seen I am not, I do not, nor can I please God.
I can please you, you, you and you too, by my doing good for you, you, you, you and you too.
Yet, but no matter what I see I can’t please God, period.
What, why, you try and so do I. So why can’t I please God, r anyone else but Son who did this on the cross, proven in being risen from the dead by Father himself.
For the Christ, Immanuel, is the only one to ever walk this earth in flesh and blood, that never sinned in unbelief to God Father. not known as Father until after Son was born on earth, and he proclaimed Father to us to be new in Father after his being risen back up from the grave for us all to have new life imputed in us.
I say it again, “Imputed” in us to walk new and not of our self workout to be new, As I know, after UI believed I set out to be new.
Hearing all the time it is not done by me, done by Father through Son that is risen for me to be new in.
And have found out, “I” Can’t do it, not perfectly anyway.
Like wanting that perfect Christmas tree with all those decorations to glamour in.
Wow do “I” do that too, looking in the mirror, trying to appear perfect to everyone else?
Yes, I do, have and might do that again, probably will, being in this body of earth that is not redeemed yet. It has to die first or there will be no life in it. Just as a seed planted in the ground, unless it dies there will be no life.
I am guilty, Father and Son are not, I, you and all the world have been invited into them to be Won (one) with them as Won (One) for you too.
All he asks is first, believe Son is risen for thee, thee, there and all the world, where new life egins then from Father to each of us as our Father too.
John 20:17
Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
John 20:21
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
So as this has gone forth ever since, it is passed onto us that turn to Father in belief Son is risen as all sin is taken away today, done once for all at his one-time death for all as now were reconciled
2 Cor. 5:16-20 ends with therefore be reconciled back to Father through risen Son for you, you, you and all the world to this day as Father patiently waits for all to make their final choice
To believe him or not in what Son has once done for everyone to turn to him in belief to see.
As I know now after trying real hard to do, I see what Paul says in Gal. 2:20-21
Thank you and Merry Christmas to all too. Actually a merry day everyday, to be thanksgiving and praise in it, seeing thankfully God took away all sin to give to us all in belief new life to see and just love as called to do, not with a few, with all regardless of these evils for we all have done evil and only Christ himself did not, that being him reaching out to us all to turn to Father in belief to see and just be new buy Faith as said in Romans 1:16-17
