Too busy…
The first event on the calendar starts at 7 AM…
The last one starts at 7 PM…
What a day!
No time to serve God today…
Have to earn a living…
As the years go by… the more time it takes to maintain a “certain lifestyle”…
Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” Mathew 19:21
There are family obligations to fulfill…
…“I will follow you, Lord, but let me first say farewell to those at my home.” Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:61-62
Sorry God, there’s just not time to serve You today…
Maybe some other day…
For I command you today to love the Lord your God… Deuteronomy 30:16
There are too many other things to do…
How can I serve God when my to-do list is so long?
And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17
When will I serve You?
Someday the time will be right…
Someday the circumstances will be right…
When the kids are grown…
When my finances are in better shape…
When I have more time…
When everything is perfect…
Someday I will serve you God…
“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Mathew 6:33
Someday I will receive Your blessing…
“God has yet to bless anyone except where they actually are, and if we faithlessly discard situation after situation, moment after moment, as not being “right”, we will simply have no place to receive his kingdom into our life.” ― Dallas Willard
