Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.
Luke 12:32

Matthew 6:25-34
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these…

Amazing how this reveals itself in trust to the King, the Father of our risen Lord, Jesus. How even adversities work out for the best, because of his love that does not always appear as is. Yet it is Love, God’s type that sustains all, whether another sees this or not. Those that stand in the midst of adversities in belief to see what God has for them here and forever by Son.
see clearly even as Job saw in Job 19:25, depended on God for the done work to come and be done by his redeemer Jesus the Christ, who today has done what Job depended on
Job and all the Saints, Believers looked forward to the day of The Christ our redeemer for new life to be given us from Father in belief to Son is risen all is forgiven, mercy is on us to turn us by free will to this truth.
Not forced onto others, otherwise it is not real. Anyone can go to the
Spirit, and still refuse to drink or accept this drink willingly ad be saved as The Gentiles were in Acts, without any works first.
Just stand even especially whenever in adversities here on earth, learn from them, see, accept these things are just what they are, trust not in self by thoughts getting from God’s enemy Satan, over tragedies happened or happening
Bob again, Brother Thank You for being available for God’s use of you to post what you post
Great reference to Job 19:25-I know that my redeemer lives and that in the end he will stand on the earth.
Believing in God with that kind of faith means we believe in His promises and purposes, and are looking beyond our own desires. Thanks for being such a faithful reader and commenter.
I love James 4:13-16 as you revealed in you post. So true as I have in past and could again in future, get trapped in plans ahead of me.
Just because this or that does not work out, it sure is not permanent, nor personal, it is pervasive, and surrounds us in thoughts of whatever is going on at the present time.
I see I have set me up in anger emotion, when I expect the future to be this or that here on earth.
Thanks Bob, for all you do as well, as we learn truth over error, being thankful we remain forgiven from God the Father of our redeemer, Christ the Messiah, to learn from each and every mistake we make, even the same ones over and over again in bad habits that were developed before believing and after in belief to be set free
WHAT? I am not to ever sin again right? But I have and can again, being in an unredeemed body that is not yet redeemed, yet remains forgiven from Father by Son in Son’s one-time done work for all, even those in unbelief.
How to reconcile, I remain as forgiven, even if I sin again, even if I take it for granted and use it to get away with harming others and self.
Why else would Paul say Nothing, can separate us from God’s love.
SO I think since we all are forgiven, yet no one saved in forgiveness, forgiveness is reconcile, and by the death alone of Son in his shed blood we all are forgiven,
Romans 5:10 tells me this about being reconciled, everyone. Then asks how much more are we saved by his life.
Which Life, the life he led while on earth, or by his resurrected life in Spirit and Truth?
Thanks as I learn, seeing not to think I have learned, I do not like getting buffeted, when I think I know 2 Cor, 12:7-10, yet am elated I do get buffeted
