Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, …

God Bless you!! All of these scriptures are powerful and true. Jesus Christ is telling us that what He had shown before His disciples. (Teaching them, because they didn’t know.)) And He knew this. And this is for us as well whom we are called His followers as well who truly believe, and Trust in Him. Who truly Loves Him. He has no Respect of a person. We Need One Another. We need His teaching. And we Need Him Daily. His Words never gets old for me. I need to eat them everyday to keep me Stronger, and for me to share them with others as you are doing today. Agape!! Shalom!! ((Hugs))
Amen!

You quoted the above verse. I got a thought from it, when re-reading this verse.
I got what about when one does not love themselves. One is down and out in condemnation, hearing they are nothing but a sinner as all man is. Growing up hearing this, I see as not good for that or any person.
I understand we are all first born as sinners, thanks to Adam and Eve. I do see God sees this as we are simply because of the fall of Adam, he said I, God will make you new, by my Son who will sacrifice his life once for everyone to turn to me in willingness to see.
Son Jesus The Christ did this once for all. Yet as the devil is out and about seeking whom he may devour is doing a job of this by getting others guilty, they can’t see the victory for them in risen Jesus, only focused on the dead one. He Is Risen where new life is given from Father to us in Spirit and Truth forever.
Then when one gets over the guilt seeing this truth we are forgiven, Pride comes along side to take this one for a ride in I am better than you over there, not seeing Luke 18:9-14
No Respect of persons, actually means, not one person is better than another, we are made equal
So either we can see equal dinners or equally made perfect in Son’s one time death for reconciliation as are forgiven from Father forever.
You see, I know I can’t do it, and yet my eye (I) continues to get in the way. The pride of life, the lust of the flesh and our not being blind to this world we live in and are not a part of, anymore, from Father’s view to us through Son for us all that will turn from unbelief to belief
I need help everyday every second of every day,
Thanks Again Bob for spurring me to hear and hear and learn and learn, not that I have gained, just putting past behind me and moving forward into future, while standing in the present given me, called life everlasting from Father of Risen Son for us all to be content in, whether rich or poor, in sickness or health
Excellent thought, Howard about the impact from a kingdom perspective of not loving yourself
Not loving self above God’s love first for us and is what is best for us. God sees all, we see little. Then whenever I think I know, I get buffeted, which reminds me of my need for God to lead not me.
