Thank you fro pointing out God never changes, never has, never will he had mercy from day one in the unbelief of Adam. he clothed them, by the sacrifice of an animal and fed them. Then put them out to till the land on their own, outside of the promised land they were in. Put back in upon belief to Sonis Risen where new life is given from Father, Papa, Yahweh all the way home he is faithful to show us through Son’s done work for us
In a world that’s constantly changing, it’s good to know Father God is constant, and can be counted on.
Amen to that! AS Malachi 3:6 says..,
“For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.
PRAISE GOD
GOD said I AM that I AM
Exo 3 14
Since God never changes, as in Mal. 3:6 and all the others, then He requires the same things from Genesis to Revelation that He is requiring in Malachi. Yes?
Yes!!!! You had your revelation from the Holy Spirit. 😀
why do people not get it’ even those who attend Bible Colleges, When did God change from a singular God into A God with a multiple personality disorder’ “trinity” it was in the fourth century’ long after Jesus was murdered for teaching the truth’ ??? Jesus was falsely accused of lies’ re John 10:33; Jesus disciples believe to this day the truth’ John 10:36; God tells us who his modern times messengers are’ Isaiah 43:7,20-22;
Yes, obedience!
Just because we are under Grace, that doesn’t mean God has changed AFTER sending Yeshua (Jesus) to the earth. Grace doesn’t give us the licence to carry on in our sins without any consequences!
Shalom, Maranatha and much blessings to you in Yeshua Messiah
Hebrews 4:12
God is merciful , I thank God he never change.
We make promises and change them
but he never change any of his promises.
Glory be to God for his unchanging love.
Amen!
I thank God for His unchanging and for His kindnesses and mercies to those such as I for even tho my days are challenged and my nights uncertain, I can trust in His love, kindness and mercy even though I deserve nothing but to be in the deepest, hottest, most unhealthy layer of Hell spinning on the slowest turning spick.
Amen!
God just dropped that scripture in my spirit, that He does not change. So, if God told you something he doesn’t change His mind.
Deuteronomy 32:40 “For I lift my hand to heaven and swear, I live forever.”
If God never changes, then how did Jesus dismiss Old Testament laws and replace them with new ones?
Great question… Jesus said in Matthew 5:17-18…
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
He didn’t dismiss Old Testament Laws and replace them with new ones.
Jesus didn’t come to condem the law but to perfect the law.
John 7;8-10 You go to the Festival, I Am Not Going to This festival.
But after this,he also went to the festival, not publicly, but in SECRET.
Here is a change of heart and words Jesus Chris spoke, and was done in hiding!
Therefore I Change not Jesus did not keep.
Here’s the verses you reference:
John 7:6-10
English Standard Version
6 Jesus said to them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always here. 7 The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify about it that its works are evil. 8 You go up to the feast. I am not going up to this feast, for my time has not yet fully come.” 9 After saying this, he remained in Galilee. 10 But after his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly but in private.
You are correct that after saying these words, Jesus did go to the feast, and in fact taught in the synagogue. But the Greek word used for “not” in v8 can mean either “not” or “not now”. In fact, some scholars say that in the earliest texts, a different Greek word was used which does in fact simply mean “not yet”.
We seem to understand that God never changes and did not change His law but why do so many keep the 1st day of the week instead of the Seventh as stated in the 4th commandment. It even says “remember the sabbath day….the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord the God” Exodus 20:8-11 KJV
Friend, even though the days are not equal the God we know never changes and when we identify what the scriptures teach us we learn to live esteeming each day wether first or seventh as days belonging to the Lord. Our God and father is the Lord of each day and we are to serve him through out Monday through to Sunday acknowledging his holiness and power as GOD over all days
God does not change. Why would He? God is perfect in all His ways. You can’t get better than perfect! God’s laws don’t change, they are written in stone for a reason. God is the same yesterday, today & forever! We can be sure of that! Praise The Lord!
