Now being confident of this very thing. At the cross in his shed v\blood we all are forgiven
Colossians 1:22 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

At his resurrected life, we are saved once anyone turns to God, not man, in belief to this truth we all are forgiven once at the cross, forever forgiven.
Salvation comes when Father decides by anyone’s belief to him in this done work of Son

Reconciled by Christ’s death in his shed blood. Saved in belief to Father and thee personally, and so one shares this publicly.
1 John 1:9, in its translation does not convey we are forgiven and remain forgiven unless we confess. To you? To God, To Clergy, to my Spouse?
Either by Christ we are forgiven at the cross from Father by Son or not.
Christ himself claimed It Is Finished, What is Finished? John 19:30

There are at least 25 other verses, that claim we are 100% forgiven. 1 John 1:9 is the only verse misinterpreted and misread as one need more forgiveness. Either Christ did it or Christ did not.

Confession is good though, just not for anymore forgiveness to be gotten from God. That is done. John the Baptist said this. Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.
John 1:29
The reality is we all are forgiven, God did it, I believe it , accept this as truth, and do not always act as I got it, I need him period daily, every second of every moment of every day.
Time to rest in this mess of a world in being confident you are forgiven and watch the new come in, as Father works with us one problem at a time. Even if one does sin again as per 1John 2:1-2 tells you, then verse 12 tells us again my Children we are forgiven.
Thank you Father so now I see to forgive, not to be forgiven, because I am already forgiven by you in Son that is risen the first one, as proven when Son hung out on earth for forty days after his being raised

And 1 John 1:9 actual translation reads from Greek to English, to have forgiven our sins already, so confess you need him to him, not me or others. Father first above all else you think?
