Bible verses really help my personal life to grow to good personal and as a husband and father
Amen!
Sorry to respond so long, I get going and just do not stop, I am in agreement with you Friend and Brother in Christ
Me too. hearing in Spirit and Truth, as so many times heard verses and did not bloom until later on. As Col. 3:23 just did
Work heartily into the Lord not men
Be not men pleasers, rather God pleasers in belief in the Faith Father gives us to be in and not concerned over others thoughts of us any longer as was when a child that carried on into adulthood.
At least this be what I get out of not doing the work to have others to be pleased to get more stuff from mankind.
That old I” still gets in the way from time to time, so remembering saved by God in his holiness not any of mine or this world’s. discerning when my actions are going away, my feelings are leading and making my choices that are not mine
What!
Kind of like looking at a train, you got a caboose and an engine, if the caboose leads the train it is not running correctly right?
So the Engine need to lead
The engine is the heart, now God gives us a new heart, that can’t mess up, a new Spirit to go with it in his risen Son, once anyone believes him. And I see me, going by my thought(s)
I get messed up every time. Anyone else?
Well looking at take all thought captive to the obedience of Christ. I see he only obeyed by Faith Trust to Father to lead him. So he took no thought(s) of his own.
Sacrifice his perfect self for us to get it from Father give to us to not think about it. To just walk new in his oven g lead.
Seeing bad thought(s) always finding a way to knock on my mind’s door. When I answer in what or thought about it. I am like Eve when she saw the fruit as good and so after from that tree. Which was not the tree of life.
Yet now today that tree of life, came to life in flesh and blood known as Jesus the Christ the living tree to eat from for new life to be given us freely given from Father to us once decide to stand in belief no matter what.
You can say now as Jesus did in John 19:30 It is Finished, the curse of the Law, Jesus took it so we can now walk in the Love given us, where there is no law against the Law of Love
Now in 1 Cor 13:4-7, and the only way to have that Love is to be imputed with it from Father as seen in Romans 4:17-25. the Emotions that have led us in anger and more stuff
Are killed instead of killing us
as if the Caboose of the train is leading us
Thanks as I speak to me in agreement with Father and Son with Bob as his servant and you too brother in Christ
To see to be led by the new heart and spirit given us, so we can stop the mine-field fight in our mindsets we have that are selfishly rebellious to order
That old man that is dead is dead read it in Romans 6, Then see the last of Romans 7, who saves us? Not us, yet IO want to do it, therefore my “I” Eye set stands in the way not seeing from the inside out.
Thanking God for this love and mercy given us to learn from our mistakes we all make and not beat me to a pulp any longer over making mistakes,
Was like Paul said it is as if beating the air. Can the Air be beat? The air has never been harmed has it. Not even the Sky
Colossians 3:23
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men
