I did not see, when, where, or How much to give when giving. I did see this though
Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box, and he saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins. And he said, “Truly, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”
I think that an illustration to us to give our all to Father of Jesus our redeemer into new life with Father in leading with the risen Christ through us,
As said in John
John 14:17-23 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
17 even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him
And so being led now new in spirit and truth, we just do as led to. Taking, took all thought captive to the obedience into Christ
2 Corinthians 10:5-6 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
5 casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
Learning this from the very first day anyone has decided to believe will see if have not yet, will.
So I see to not try to figure it out. Yet had to for a long while first to understand and fathom this new life given us in the risen Christ to lead us in Father’s spirit and truth, the Holy Spirit
So seeing to die to self is a key to see, if I am dead to me and this world, then I am free to hear and do as led to do. Not as others say to do. Seeing Jesus’s walk of true Love never before expressed so perfect as was and is to this dat to me.
I see what is said
Romans 1:16-17 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
By
Faith, belief, one lives new in true love as revealed in 1 Cor. 13:4-7, then as we are imputed with this love of we grow over time in seeing this and see 1 cor. 13:8-12, unto imputation of Love God’s type taken over us, imputed in us by God as shown in Romans 4:17-25
Just what I am seeing and sharing, God seeing when, how, where, and how much, not tied to ten percent as was in the first (old) Testament.
As God knows ands does through us that are willing, we are already rewarded with the ultimate gift to have and hold, in thanksgiving and praise, Eternal Life through Christ. I could not claim this until I was given him in being risen to live through us here on earth now and forever
