Thank you as we are foreigners in a strange world, to those in belief that see, as Father be the one and only good there is, ever, even as Son the Christ said this in Matthew 19 to that rich man that asked what he must do to make it to Heaven.
Read it, please in trust to Father to reveal this truth of no work can save us of self or anyone else But Son, Jesus the Christ. Our Lord unto his Lord, Father, whom is ours now by Son’s one time done work once for everyone to have one choice to Believe or not believe
We are here, Loved by God, hated by Satan, lucifer, that has been defeated, at the resurrected Christ, is where he got defeated.
The death was for reconciliation first to us all to turn to Father in belief Son Jesus is risen for us to receive new life free from Father to live new, learning to as we go out and about in his Joy given us to see clear.
Satan as I see has over the years since the resurrected Christ, camouflaged the resurrection, in getting us to try to be like Jesus, in his death, not in the risen Christ where new life is at.
We are first reconciled by the death, once for all to turn to Father in belief Son, Jesus is risen where we get receive new life from Father free of charge or any other work of self to do.
I see we are responders not initiators, To be an initiator is to be God, which I see I am not God, yet was first born as if God.
This is why I see why Christ came to first reconcile everyone to Father through by himself in trust to Father, (not known as Father in till Christ came here to earth through the virgin Mary of the tribe of Judah)
We are in belief to he is risen given from Father, to live new abiding in, by Faith to this alone. Romans 1:16-17
Works are a by product of belief, yet these are not our works others see, these are Father’s Done works in Son that is risen where new life resides at to be given and is given free to all in belief.
Eph. 1:13, 6,7 Accepted, forgiven and sealed in Father and Son as Won (One)
Thanks again Bob for all the reminders God does just love us all
Thanks for the verses and thoughts, Howard. As you say, God just does love us all!
All the Scriptures that you have shared with us about temptation are very helpful. This one I choose:
Romans 12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. ” He doesn’t wont us to allow evil to overcome us, because evil is Sin. And He is never pleased with us using Sin for our own selfish purpose. It is easy to use…But He wants us to overcome evil by using good. Example: when someone attacks us with Words to hurt us, we are to not use Words to hurt them back. Instead use Words of love, kindness, walk away. Pray for them instead. Put them in Jesus Chrsit hands. \0/\0/
Amen! Excellent verse and great thoughts about its application. Thanks for contributing!
Amen, Betty Jo. Amen Sis, as it is not easy to stand in Joy, when attacked and told things that are in reality just words, that try to get our natural emotions leading us.
Kind of like, when a caboose on a train leads, it is heading for a crash assuredly.
Where as for me, when my natural emotions lead, but is like a train headed for a wreck that is in a wreck, as fast as when the caboose is leading, not the engine
Do not know if got that allegory said well. Yet I am learning too, how to respond and not respond, when where and in trust for God to lead not my old man that does not want to be dead, but is dead at first birth.
Romans 6
Thanks again sis
