Bob, I was just thinking it had been a long time since I had seen any of your bible verse posts and this popped up in my email today. Only God! The verse that stuck with me most was
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
Thank you for continuing to do these.
Yes, I took a several month hiatus-But this seemed like the right time and the right topic to start again. John 14:27 is a great verse!
Yes Brother it is great to hear from you again. Thank you yes this be the right time to post again and glad you took the time that you needed
Lot’s happening today
A verse to add
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
Romans 13:8 AKJV
So if owe go to those and confess to them, if they forgive thee or not, you have done what you have been called to do, owe no one nothing
More to see
Romans 14:7-8 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.
Turn to the Father of the risen One, Jesus our Lord unto his Lord, (Acts 20:21) and see him become your Father too
John 20:17-18 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. 18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
Do we now see Father as our Father connected to him thanks to Jesus? The connection is made through Son for us to be new in his being risen where new life begins.
Just like at Pentecost, 10 days later after he left here, Father came here in Spirit and Truth for us to believe and has not left yet. (John 4:23-24)
The Job of Jesus as Son was here to do what he has done for us to be new in his risen life given us from Father to us, once anyone believes, Father seals us in himself through Son and we become Son’s of Father to be led by him, as long as one sees to be willing
Even unto Death as we see happening in front of us all. Fear has hit the People, And as you pointed out John 16:33, to see to not fear, seeing Jesus overcame this world, proven in his resurrection, reported to us by the Disciples of the Bible
Time to turn to God Father of in Risen Son and stand in beleif to see truth over error.
Bob, So Glad you Back as I see you do as led, Father knows best. that is what Jesus conveyed to us all, did be not?
So can we die willingly at least just be as if already dead, to be alive to God not in pride or guilt any longer, as Father leads not me or anyone else,
Father knows when he came here to Earth after Son paved the truth to us, to learn from
I stand in Col. 1:21-23 and John 19:30, see Hebrews 9:14-17
Hebrews 9:14-17 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. 16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
We are saved by his risen Life that Father gives us to abide in. As we go through trials adversities, it is not easy to stand in beleif, yet to do so, one sees Father and Son as Won for them they somehow get through it all
All the verses reveal truth, in to see to not feat even though the thoughts try to enter in us. We are learning how to take all thoughts captive to the Obedience of Christ
What I am seeing is: Jesus’s obedience was Faith, trust to Father all in all, even unto willing death without fighting back. I see Father reveals this to all his Kids
So therefore stand in belief, Christ is risen, where new life is given, see truth over errors of this world and accept from God himself, You Are Forgiven 100% from Father of Son that happened in his one time death, once for everyone.
It is true, time to stand in this truth, and see it from Father in Spirit and Truth given you
Amen
Great to hear from you Howard!
