Top 38 Bible Verses-Living like Christ In An Angry World …
Are Christians giving Jesus a bad name?
Opening my social media feed…
I see an article forwarded by a church friend…
The article is lengthy…
Scholarly in tone…
Outlining how Christians should react to politicians with whom they disagree.
I stop reading when it calls for personal physical violence against specific people.
Perhaps my friend didn’t read that far before he forwarded the article.
Scrolling down…
I see a post from another Christian friend with opposing political opinions.
Every sentence in his post ends with an exclamation point!
He calls on all of us to join him in his hatred of those he opposes.
As I read these two posts…
And as I consider my own unexpressed thoughts…
I wonder….
Are we Christians being Christlike in our reaction to the world?
Are Christians giving Jesus a bad name?
Are we remembering what Christ said…
About how we should treat our neighbors?
Our enemies?
Our fellow Christians?
What do you think?
Are Christians giving Jesus a bad name ?

People do this to each other, evil takes it and uses it as if it is God that and is not true in love to us all. As in 1 Cor. 13 tells me of, as Father be the one and only interpreter to this truth of his love goes on forever, as everything else gets left behind but his love that endures forever
