Top 8 Bible Verses-Where Can We Find God ?
PLUS an Everyday Story-Finding God in the Grocery Store…
“Chocolate cookies!”
“No! Chocolate chip cookies!”
Two young girls…
Practically running down the grocery aisle…
In search of the perfect cookies…
“Good for them!” I silently grump…
“I’m glad somebody is having fun in the grocery store!”
Are they 12-years-old? 13?
No matter…
They are having a great time as they laugh about which box of cookies to buy…
Me?
I walk through the cookie aisle as fast as possible…
My focus on the “possible” …
To leave as many cookies on the shelves as possible…
And to get out of the grocery store as quickly as possible…
I barely notice my fellow shoppers…
Like most of them…
I stare into some indeterminant middle-space.
A space where I make no eye contact…
A space where I send the clear message…
“I don’t want to be here.”
I am here in body only.
My mind, my heart, my thoughts are elsewhere.
As I leave the store…
I see the two girls sitting on a bench…
Eating their chocolate chip cookies…
And laughing!
Laughing!
Laughing!
Enjoying the moment…
And the place…
Enjoying where they find themselves.
I, on the other hand, ignore both the time and place I find myself.
And so I almost miss hearing God…
God who is here in this moment…
God who fills the grocery aisle with laughter and Joy …
And invites me to join Him in that joy.
Teaching me that…
Since my physical body can only be in one place at a time…
When I ignore that place and time…
I ignore the only place I can meet God.
God who promises He will be with us everywhere…
Always…
In times and places of joy and sadness…
Boredom and excitement…
Danger and safety…
Fear and assurance…

As somehow by you Father goodness and mercy has followed me and everyone, even though we all go through troubles, you stand firm with in us to reveal truth to us in your love forever to us by Son that is done once for us all to stand in trust to you, just loving us. When seeing this, this has been doing the changes in me to see in agreement to you of things I have done and could again do as not beneficial now
Thank you Father, Son, and your guide to keep me Holden up and all those as well in belief to your love and mercy of Son given us all to turn to you in belief to see clearer and clearer standing in willing to learn from mistakes made.
As I see what anger is now, all it is is out of alignment with your love and mercy given us to stand in in spite of
Thank you for this peace and serenity I am beginning to see in spite of things here on earth going on that I do not like to be happening or ever happening.
I see what you mean in Matthew 6 about, asking will worry add any moment to your life? NO!
It steals, kills and destroys, where as you came to earth in Son to deliver us from that. Now done in Son for us to turn to you in belief to be led new in peace in spite of all the adversities we go through here on earth in the valley of the shadow of death, where you teach us to fear no evil
Love it, Thank You forever in this done work for us by Son you raised from the dead as proof. As Son said to Mary, I go to my Father, now your Father. As this be passed onto us all to have new life in risen Son to be led in, no more of self in the way, even though it tries to be that again and again, so I claim it dead as God sees it at first birth unto second birth in the Spirit of Father and Son leading me and all in continued belief to see and just be as said in Romans 1:16-17
Bob thank you for being willingly led by Father and Son too, your posting just inspires me
