You might be surprised to know that all the people in this conversation are adults…

In case you don’t know…

“Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh” is Harry’s favorite phrase.

But why would you know?

Unless like the people in the conversation above, you are a parent or grandparent.

Babies change us….

They change our schedules and our priorities…

They change us by becoming the treasure of our hearts …

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.   Matthew 6:21

Maybe that’s why God came to the world as a baby…

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given… Isaiah 9:6  

To capture our hearts…

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.  Proverbs 3:5

 To set an example for who we should be…

At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven… Matthew 18:1-5

Perhaps he came as a baby so that He might save our souls for all eternity…

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. John 3:16-17
