“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’”  Matthew 22:37

“Who do you love?” the instructor asked…

Who do you love

Class at the community college was ending…

The instructor pointed at one student after another, asking the same question again and again…

“What did you learn?”

“What did you learn?”

“What did you learn?”

Then, he changed the question…

“Who do you love?” he asked a surprised student.

“I love the Lord,” she answered.

The instructor took a step back, chuckled and shook his head…

Turning to another student, he changed the question again…

“Why are you here on earth?”

“To bring honor and glory to God,” answered the student.

“No!” the professor chuckled again.

“You are here on earth…because of gravity.”

“One last question,” he continued,  “Who is the most awesome being in the entire universe?”

“God!” someone shouted.

“No!” the instructor shouted back.

“Wow, I’ve got a bunch of religious people in this class!”

“You are the most awesome being in the entire universe!”

Looking like an old time evangelist, he stepped back, half closed his eyes and raised his hands above his heads as he intoned…

“Raise your hands. Say it with me…”

“I am awesome!”

“I am awesome!”

“I am awesome!”

Class ended.

As one student left, the the instructor’s questions kept running through her mind…

“Who do you love?”
