We are all so angry…
So ready to speak words filled with hate…
Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. James 1:19-20
We all want to hang out with people who think like we think…
“If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. Luke 6:32
It’s a good thing God didn’t wait for us to think like he thinks…
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
He tells us what he wants us to do…
…love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back.
Why should we love our enemies?
Then…you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
