7 Top Bible Verses-Seeing The World Through Gods Eyes …
The crowd is big…
And she is very small…
Thousands of people gather for the free outdoor concert…
But she is so small.
Her view is blocked…
Blocked by the sea of legs and bodies all around her.
“Daddy,” she calls…
And stretches her arms up to him.
He smiles…
Leans down…
And lifts her to his shoulders.
Now she sees what he sees.
She sees through His eyes.
Could we be like that little girl?
Longing to see things as our heavenly father sees them?
To see the world through His eyes?
But He is so big…
And we are so very small.
Our view is blocked by the distractions of this world.
What can we do?
If we cry out to God in prayer…
Will He lift us up to see the world as He sees it?
Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. Jeremiah 33:3
We can cry out to God in prayer…
But how else can we see the world through God’s eyes?
What about scripture?
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
And what does the scripture tell us about how God sees the world?
God sees the world with all-knowing eyes…
The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:3
Yet even as He see the good and the evil of the world…
God sees the world with forgiving eyes…
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
He sees the world with eyes of mercy…
The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. Psalm 145:9
And He sees the world with eyes of love…
For God so Loved the world…
Love so strong…
That He did what to us would be unthinkable…
…He gave his only Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life… John 3:16
God looks at the world through eyes of love…
And commands us to do the same…
But we’re not God!
How can we love those who hate us?
Love those persecute who us?
God promises to lift us up…
To see through His eyes of love…
If only we will first love Him…
….“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:37-39
