Excellent question. Sometimes the verses are 5 of the most well-known or most often cited. Sometimes on a purely subjective basis, they are verses that have meant the most to me. Any list of this sort is subjective, and I am not qualified to be an arbiter of an official top 5 list of verses. Everyone is invited to add their own favorite verses through comments.
