This week posts from Tim Challies, Anne Marie Miller, and Diana Symons

1. Tragedy of Time?

Time has been on my mind this week…

How fast it passes…

How only God can say “I Am” and live in all of time, all the time…

How we need to guard our souls against regrets from the past and fears of the future

So my attention was drawn to Tim Challies’ post, “The Tragedy of Time…”

A tragedy made all the more real to him by one small app and a lot of photos…

Read his post… can you identify with his thoughts?

2. Tragedy of spring?

The beauty of spring is all around…

Green grass, flowers blooming, trees sprouting leaves and blossoms…

Spring fills the senses…

Lifts the spirit…

But what must spring be like for those who are house-bound?

What must they think-how must they feel when the rest of us prattle on about the glories of the season- a season they cannot experience directly?

This past week I discovered a blogger I had not read before who dealt with that very question.

Her name is Shelly and she blogs at www.reneweddaily.com

He writing on this topic comes straight from the heart and straight from her own life experience.

As she shares on her blog…

In 2008, I was struck with a mysterious illness that left me disabled.  It is a chronic illness that has led to other chronic illnesses and I have often, like Paul, asked for my thorns to be removed.  But along my journey, which is still on-going, I am learning to see the beauty in the thorns.  I am learning to truly count my blessings.

Read Shelly’s post…

Written from the perspective of counting her blessings…

And learn how she experiences spring.

The post will stir your heart…

3. Tragedy of Mother’s Day?

Mother’s day… a tragedy?

What is the day like for those mothers who were never able to hold their babies?

Writing from her own experience, Anne Marie Miller gives one answer…

Read her very personal and touching post…

4. Escaping the tragedy of Fear…

What is the tragedy of fear?

Of Anxiety?

It is the way it stops us from living the life God intends.

Diana Symons says there is a way to escape fear and anxiety

Looking for an escape route from fear and anxiety?

Read Diana’s post…
