  2. Are you and your spouse great parents, but lousy lovers?
  3. What if Jesus doesn’t want you to go with Him?

Links to posts from Ron Edmonson, Kristen Howerton, Focus on the Family, and Tim Challies…

1. Family or friends?

Do you spend more time and effort planning a special night for your family or your friends? Think back over the special times you’ve enjoyed in the last year… the trips to the beach, the night at a new restaurant, a special party on the patio or in the family room.

As the warm memories of those gatherings fill your mind… ask yourself this question:

How many of those nights were for friends?  How many were for family?

As you consider that question, read Kristen Howerton’s post from her popular blog, “Rage Against the Minivan”.

2. Is your family “Kid-centered”?

Is it so kid centered that you and your spouse have no time for each other?

Read this post from Thriving Families (A Focus on the Family blog) for 3 steps to making sure you never become “great parents, but lousy lovers”…

3. Several Everyday Servant posts recently have focused on serving Jesus right here, right now…

Tim Challies makes a clear, concise, direct point about why following Jesus wherever He wants us to go, may mean staying right where we are…

Read his thoughts in this post from Challies.com

4, Have loyal church members suddenly vanished?

Are you or your family considering pulling a disappearing act?

What are the top 7 reasons people leave church?

What can we do to help others stay connected?

How can we guard ourselves against these 7 calls away from the body of Christ?

Read this thought provoking post from Ron Edmondson…
