It’s a credit card…

One my wife and I never used…

So when we found it in a drawer…

We decided to cut it up and throw it away.

I tried cutting it with scissors…

The scissors bent.

Pinking shears?

Nope.

But I had the answer!

Hedge trimmers!

Didn’t even dent it.

Loppers meant to cut tree branches?

Another failure!

Why, you ask, is it so hard to cut up a credit card?

The card is metal!

Maybe, i think, there’s an answer online…

I find a video of a guy using a blow torch?!

The card melts a little in one corner…

And the guy burns his hand!

There’s got to be another answer…

“Send us your metal credit card. We’ll destroy it for you!”

They promise they won’t charge anything to the card…

Uh…no.

Here’s the real answer…

“Contact the issuer.  They’ll give you an envelope to send it back.”
